I've been working on cavalry units for this period and now you have the first design. A complete unit of 12 cavalrymen armed with sword on standing horses. They are suitable for any european army of the time.

With this design you have 4 strips of 3 figures each one.

6mm XVIII INFANTRY TRICORN "shoulder arms"

Hello;

I have a new unit for you, This design shows the infantry in a shoulder arms position. This was the default stance of the infantryman in battle. From this position the soldier can move around and maneuver on the battlefield.

This is one of the most common designs used by 6mm manufacturers and you need it in your armies.

With this archive you have six strips of four figures each one:

1x Command strip.

1x Infantry with officer strip,

1x Infantry with sergeant strip.

INFANTRY TRICORN "at ease" early 18th

Hi everyone:

In this second design I wanted to show the infantry in a more relaxed waiting position. The battalion is formed in battleline but they are resting because the enemy is still far away. The men have a moment of rest before the fight begins.

With this model you can add an interesting visual variety to your armies to make them more attractive. I have painted them as a spanish regiment.

INFANTRY TRICORN "order arms" early 18th

Hello. My name is Carlos Amador. I have painted and collected 6mm armies all my life. Now I'm starting to design my own figures the way I always liked them.

I have always thought that commercial miniatures offer boring and repetitive figures, so my designs are very varied. The figures are simple in design but well proportionated and perfect for painting in 6mm.

My miniatures are 6mm infantry, cavalry and artillery of the early 18th century in all the poses you can see in other 28mm figures. Infantry strips are roughly the same height and size as Baccus or Adler and you can combine them.

REGIMIENTO DE INFANTERÍA DE LÍNEA SABOYA 1808

Esta unidad fue creada en 1537 por orden del emperador Carlos V como Tercio de Saboya.

El regimiento de infantería Saboya se encuentra en Valencia al declararse la guerra contra Francia. Participa en la defensa de la ciudad de Valencia contra la columna francesa del general Moncey derrotándola. Tras la defensa de Valencia estuvo presente en la batalla de Tudela y en el sitio de Zaragoza.

This unit was raised in 1537 by order of the emperor Charles V with the name of “Tercio de Saboya”. The line infantry regiment n.6 was placed in Valencia at the beginning of the penninsular war. The regiment takes part in the defense of the city against a French column under command of Mariscal Moncey. After this action, the regiment fought in the battle of Tudela and the siege of Zaragoza.

En 1809 interviene en las batallas de Alcañiz, María y Belchite. En este mismo año participa también en la defensa de Gerona.

En 1810 actúa en la defensa de Morella, Albocácer y Sagunto. En 1811 se suceden los combates de Amposta, Torre del Rey y Oropesa. En este mismo año en la defensa de Tarragona resulta prácticamente aniquilado.

En1812 algunas compañías sueltas se reagrupan y participan en la defensa de Cádiz.

Al inicio de la guerra de indepencia los regimientos españoles de infantería de linea están formados por tres batallones. El primer batallón con dos compañías de granaderos y otras dos de fusileros. El segundo y tercer batallón con cuatro compañías de fusileros cada uno.

At the beggining of the war the Spanish line infantry regiments have three battalions. The first battalion is composed of 2 grenadiers companies and 2 fusiliers companies. Second and third battalions have 4 companies of fusiliers each one.

SPANISH FLAGS 1808-1812

Hola a todos.

Desde este apartado he querido hacer una recopilación de las banderas con las que la infantería española de 1808 entró en guerra con Francia. Muchas de ellas se perdieron sin dejar testimonio de como eran y tan sólo podemos hacer una aproximación.

Quisiera dar también las gracias a Luis Sorando Muzas, sin cuya colaboración y aportes este trabajo no hubiera sido posible.
